Enjoy picturesque scenery and historic castles
The Addison County Chamber of Commerce is offering its members, their families and friends, and members of the community the opportunity to travel this fall to the beautiful country of Scotland. There is an informational meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Champlain Room at the Courtyard by Marriott, at which interested travelers can get their questions answered by Chamber Discoveries, the tour provider.
This 8-day trip includes round trip airfare, 6 night’s hotel accommodations, and includes 2 nights in Edinburgh, 2 nights in Inverness and 2 nights in Glasgow. You will tour such iconic sites as Edinburgh Castle, Rosslyn Chapel, Dunfermline Abbey, Stirling Castle, and Urquhart Castle on Lock Ness, the home of Nessie, the legendary Loch Ness monster.
Enjoy true “Scottish breakfasts” which guarantee you won’t leave for the day hungry. Golf fans will enjoy the stop at St. Andrews, home of St. Andrews’ golf course, Cathedral and Castle. The tour will take you through the highlands and lowlands of this picturesque country. If you are also interested in seeing Ireland, there is an optional 3-night post-tour extension to Belfast.
“In 2017 we offered a trip to the Pompeii and Amalfi regions of Italy. More than 18 passengers booked the trip through the Addison County Chamber. Every passenger gave the trip rave reviews— the daily sightseeing trips, quality of food and exceptional customer service. Our tour provider, Chamber Discoveries, has managed a half dozen trips for our Chamber and I expect this fall’s trip will be just as fabulous as the others have been,” said Rob Carter, president, Addison County Chamber of Commerce
Space is limited, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to visit Scotland. For more information and pricing for these amazing trips, please call the Chamber at 802-388-7951 or email Rob Carter at email@example.com.
