The Small Business Administration is seeking 20 entrepreneurs throughout Vermont to participate in Emerging Leaders, a free business course in Williston, Vt. starting in April.
Over the course of seven months, entrepreneurs will learn to create a three-year strategic growth plan to build a sustainable business of size and scale.
Firms must be for-profit enterprises, been in business for at least three years, have at least one full-time employee, and have annual revenues between $400,000 and $10 million.
There are no restrictions on the type of businesses that can participate. Some examples of participating businesses include manufacturers, retail stores, wholesalers, contractors, professional services and food service.

SmallBiz Disaster Loans Available in Addison, Chittenden Counties
WASHINGTON – Small businesses and residents in Addison and Chittenden counties affected by severe storms, flooding and straight-line winds from Oct. 31 to Nov. 1 can apply for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
SBA’s Customer Service Representatives will be available at the Disaster Loan Outreach Centers to answer questions about the disaster loan program and help individuals complete their applications.
