LAMOILLE HOUSING PARTNERSHIP HOSTS SECOND ANNUAL HARVEST FOR HOUSING BENEFIT

Morrisville, VT. Lamoille Housing Partnership (LHP) is hosting their second annual Harvest for Housing, an event that features the affordable housing nonprofit’s annual meeting followed by a ticketed dinner to benefit the organization’s housing initiatives in Lamoille County and the Town of Hardwick.

LHP’s annual meeting is open to public and free to attend; attendees can expect to learn about LHP’s mission in action and current projects, meet LHP staff and members of the board of trustees, as well as learn about becoming an LHP board member. The ticketed portion of Harvest for Housing follows the annual meeting, and is also open to the public; beginning at 5pm, attendees will enjoy a wood fired pizza dinner courtesy of Elmore Mountain bread, salad and sweet treats, beer courtesy of the Alchemist (and non-alcoholic beverages, of course!), live music by the Dale and Darcy Trio, and a raffle. The pizza dinner will be cooked in Johnson’s community pizza oven, and the menu will incorporate locally sourced ingredients from Vermont businesses including Pete’s Greens and Vermont Salumi.

Local businesses are generously sponsoring and supporting Harvest for Housing, the largest of which include Elmore Mountain Bread, The Alchemist, Community National Bank, Donald P. Blake. Jr. Inc., Concept2, Spruce Peak Realty, and Vermont Housing Finance Agency.

Harvest for Housing takes place on Saturday September 7th, 2019 in Johnson, Vermont at Legion Field (55 School Street, Johnson, VT.) The annual meeting will take place from 4pm – 5pm, followed by the fundraising dinner from 5pm – 7pm. Tickets are $25 for adults, and $12 for children – each ticket includes dinner, drinks, and dessert. 100% of Harvest for Housing admission and raffle ticket proceeds go directly to Lamoille Housing Partnership to benefit our mission of creating and preserving affordable housing for low and moderate income residents of Lamoille County and Hardwick. Only 100 tickets will be available for purchase. This event is rain or shine. Tickets are available for purchase online at http://bit.ly/harvestforhousing, and additional information can be found on the organization’s website (www.lamoillehousing.org/events).
