Vermont Business Magazine A recent study by the Vermont Department of Health shows that transportation and energy policies are more important to your health than you might think. The Health Department’s analysis of transportation-related health benefits found that changes in how we use transportation in Vermont can not only reduce greenhouse gases, but could also prevent 2,000 early deaths and save $1.1 billion in health care costs and lost productivity.

Described as an event designed for snowboarders, by snowboarders, this event celebrates the roots of snowboarding on Southern Vermont's highest peak. Participants can register for the Roots Package to be entered into all four events. The Rail Jam, Retro Pipe, All Snow, and the new two-day Banked Slalom make up the event schedule for this season. Alternatively, participants can register for single events, space permitting as each event has a maximum number of participants.

Vermont Business Magazine The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets (VAAFM) recently finalized a strategic contract with Vermont based company Trace, to utilize the company’s blockchain-based platform with a secure soil-to-shelf hemp registration, licensing and enforcement tracking system. This first-in-the-nation hemp tracking system will allow the Agency to assist Vermont’s hemp growers and processors with the rapid expansion of the hemp marketplace.
