Vermont Family Network welcomes new board member

Vermont Family Network (VFN) welcomed Laurie Gunn as its newest member of the Board of Directors during the organization’s Annual Meeting in May. 

Gunn, a resident of Williston, is Vice President of Human Resources at Fletcher Allen Health Care, Vermont's academic medical center and the State’s largest employer with over 6,000 employees, 450 full-time faculty and 500 members of the medical staff. Gunn has responsibility for human resources strategy and operations and provides leadership in employee & labor relations, cultural strategy, recruitment, reward & recognition, compensation & benefits, and physician relations.
Laurie joined Fletcher Allen in 1999 and has over 20 years of human resources experience. Prior to joining Fletcher Allen, Laurie held leadership roles in both the financial industry and consulting services. She received a B.A. in Psychology from Framingham University in Massachusetts and received her Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) certification in 2007.

Gunn will also serve on the organization’s Operations Committee.
