Erik Urch joins VHB as Senior Environmental Scientist in Vermont

VHB Welcomes Erik Urch as a Senior Environmental Scientist in the firm’s South Burlington, Vermont office. Urch will manage the Vermont office’s Oil and Hazardous Materials team’s efforts on a variety of public and private projects throughout Vermont and Northern New England. “We are thrilled to have Erik join us in South Burlington. His experience on complex redevelopment projects coupled with his broad skill set and ability to deliver innovative solutions will enable us to move our clients’ projects forward efficiently,” noted Dave Saladino, PE, AICP, Managing Director of VHB’s South Burlington office.

Urch brings more than two decades of experience managing state and federally-funded brownfield projects for municipal and private developers involving design, planning, assessment and cleanup throughout Vermont. His extensive background includes conducting site assessments, designing and implementing traditional and innovative corrective action measures for site remediation, and assisting clients with public outreach and compliance initiatives.

Urch holds a BA in Geology from State University of New York (SUNY) Potsdam.
