Betsy Ide, a Green Mountain Power executive, was elected to the Housing Vermont Board of Directors at the organization’s annual meeting. Ms. Ide brings substantial policy and public sector experience to the Board of the statewide nonprofit housing and community development organization. Prior to joining GMP where she directs corporate development and external affairs, Ms. Ide was a member of the Governor’s Irene Recovery Team and administrator of the Vermont Disaster Relief Fund.
Housing Vermont, which has developed 4,700 affordable apartments and raised more than $267 million in private equity, is celebrating its 25th anniversary
