SymQuest Becomes Designated Symantec Technical Assistance Partner

The SymQuest Group, the leading provider of network and document technology solutions and services, announced that Benjamin R. Mercer received his designation as a certified Symantec Technical Specialist (STS) for Backup Executive 2010. This achievement also earns SymQuest the designation as a Symantec Technical Assistance Partner.
Being a Technical Assistance Partner gives SymQuest personnel access to exclusive Symantec technical training, and allows them to provide their customers with value-added service. Being a part of the Technical Assistance Partner Program (TAAP) also enables SymQuest to serve as a single point of contact with Symantec; this translates into more effective and efficient use of their clients’ resources and time. Because of the TAPP designation, SymQuest also has direct access to advanced level support and can escalate any technical case on their customers’ behalf within Symantec.
“With TAPP designation, SymQuest is able to deliver advanced technical assistance to our customers within ever-increasingly complex IT environments,” said Larry Sudbay, President and Chief Executive Officer of SymQuest Group. “With priority access to Symantec’s advanced-level technical staff, Ben and our internal expert technicians can offer customers greater levels of technical assistance for the Backup Exec, Symantec Endpoint Security and Messaging and Web Security product families and provide a broader range of real-time service.”
Mercer is a graduate of Champlain College with a major in Computer Networking and Information Security. When not expanding his knowledge in order to offer his customers excellent support, Benjamin enjoys fishing, sailing and hiking. He is originally from Falmouth, ME.
