Evan M. Ginsberg MD joins Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene Department of Family Medicine

Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene (CMC/DHK) welcomes Evan M. Ginsberg, MD, FACP, Internist, to the Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Ginsberg has provided Internal Medicine and Primary Care to patients ranging in ages from 16 years old to senior citizens for the past 31 years. He most recently worked as a staff Internist at Grace Cottage Family Health & Grace Cottage Hospital in Townshend, VT. He currently teaches as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at both the University of Vermont School of Medicine in Burlington, VT, and at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT. Dr. Ginsberg has also provided patient care as an Attending Physician in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of Saint Raphael and at Yale-New Haven Hospital, both in New Haven, CT.
At Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene, Dr. Ginsberg works with other medical practitioners providing care in a Medical Home Team, helping patients become active participants in their health and well-being. The Medical Home Team integrates all aspects of a person's preventive, acute, and chronic care, offering patients comfort, convenience, and optimal health throughout their lifetimes. CMC/DHK implemented this Medical Home model two years ago as a component of the healthiest community initiative in order to help prevent and manage chronic conditions.
Dr. Ginsberg is Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He served his Residency as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, CT, and completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Far Eastern University School of Medicine in Manila, Philippines. In multiple surveys between 1999 and 2010, Dr. Ginsberg’s peers named him as one of the “Top Docs in Connecticut” and one of the “Best Doctors in America.”
