CCV welcomes new Dean of Administration

Community College of Vermont (CCV) has announced that long-serving state administrator Andy Pallito will join its team as Dean of Administration. Pallito comes to CCV with 30 years of leadership experience in a variety of organizations, from Fortune 500 companies to government agencies.

“I am thrilled to welcome Andy to our team,” said CCV President Joyce Judy. “He brings the right combination of financial and management expertise, creativity, and a forward-thinking approach. He will play a key role in ensuring CCV’s continued success providing high-quality education for all Vermonters.”

Pallito currently serves as Director of Health Systems Finances for the Green Mountain Care Board. He began his career in state government in 1992 working for the Agency of Human Services. Transferring to the Vermont Department of Corrections in January of 2001, Pallito was appointed Deputy Commissioner in 2006 and Commissioner in 2008. He was appointed Commissioner of Finance and Management in 2015, and worked in these roles under three Vermont governors.

Pallito is a resident of Burlington and holds an ASEL/IFR pilot's license. He will step into his new role at CCV beginning April 16th.
