WCAX-TV News hires Steve Bottari

Steve Bottari has joined WCAX as a morning TV anchor and reporter. Bottari will join Molly Smith and Gary Sadowsky weekdays from 5 - 7 a.m. “It’s an honor to be part of the community,” said Bottari. “We will keep the region informed with news, sports and weather and have a little fun as viewers start their day.”
Steve holds his master’s degree from Syracuse University and received his undergraduate degree from Fairfield University. Before WCAX, Steve reported from the presidential campaign trail for WBIN-TV, covering New Hampshire's "first in the nation" primary. His previous credentials also include ABC News' Nightline and USA TODAY. For a season, Steve was the host for an AHL hockey team, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the New York Islanders.
A native New Englander, Steve grew up in Chelmsford, Mass., and attended Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, N.H. He is an Eagle Scout.
