The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets hires a new Director of Policy and Communications. Scott Waterman comes to Agriculture from the Department of Public Safety where he was the public information officer for the Vermont State Police. Waterman takes over for Alison Kosakowski who recently returned to her family’s farm in Richmond.
The Vermont Republican Party has appointed Deborah T Bucknam, Esq of Walden to serve on the Vermont Commission on Women. Ms Bucknam will serve the remaining 2 years of Susie Hudson’s 4-year term. Ms Bucknam has been practicing law in Vermont since 1979, and was licensed to practice in New Hampshire in 2005.
Marissa Parisi is stepping down as executive director of Hunger Free Vermont after nearly nine years at the helm. Her last day will be December 15th.
Vermont Mutual Insurance Group is pleased to announce that Bryan A Mjaanes has joined the organization as Vice-President and Head of Information Technology. Mr Mjaanes is joining Vermont Mutual as part of the succession plan to replace the current IT Vice President, Joanne Currier, upon her retirement.

As a Companion Aide, Titus is responsible for the many aspects of the well-being of her assigned patients such as helping with grooming, ensuring a bright, clean room, reading, conversing, and providing emotional support.

Foot and ankle specialist Dr Bryan C Monier joins the surgical staff of Mansfield Orthopaedics at Copley Hospital in November. Copley contracted with Dr Monier in 2016 in preparation of Dr Saul Trevino transferring to a non-operative clinical practice at Mansfield Orthopaedics. “I am honored to join Copley Hospital and Mansfield Orthopaedics,” said Dr Monier.
John Haussner has joined Davis & Hodgdon Associates CPAs as an Associate Accountant. John is a graduate of PACE University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and he is on track to earning the Certified Public Accountant license within the next year. John’s prior experience includes audit and accounting positions, most recently at PKF O’Connor Davies, LLP in New York.
