Vermont Student Assistance Corporation Adds to Board

Chris Robbins of Danville, a member for 12 years and chair for
the past two, has been reappointed to the board of directors of the
Vermont Student Assistance Corporation. Pam Chisholm of Duxbury has been
named a new member of the VSAC board. Both appointments were made recently
by Governor James Douglas. Robbins is president of EHV-Weidmann Industries
Inc. in St. Johnsbury. He is a member of the Vermont State Board of

DEW Construction Corp Selected as CM for CVU High School Expansion and Renovation

DEW Construction Corp. has been selected as the Construction Manager for Chittenden South Supervisory Union's Champlain Valley Union High School Addition and Renovation Project. Work on this project entails a 148,542 square foot renovation of the existing school including a new wood chip-fired heating system, and 63,000 square feet of new construction including space for classrooms, a new library/media center, gymnasium addition, and a new cafeteria and kitchen.

Lorraine Jenne has just been named Director of Operations for The Howard Center, with responsibility for human resources, corporate compliance, quality assurance, risk management, and labor relations. Jenne served most recently as Human Resources Director.
John Kamin, M.D., joined The Howard Center for Human Services staff as Staff Psychiatrist of the Adult Behavioral Health Services division, after completing his residency in the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Program.

Charter One Sets Course for Next Phase of Online Banking

Charter One Financial, Inc. (NYSE: CF) announced that it would be migrating its consumer and small business online banking applications to Corillian’s Voyager platform.
Charter One also announced that it has formed a new partnership with Cash Edge to integrate account aggregation and bank-to-bank transfer functions into the Corillian product. Charter One has also reaffirmed its partnership with Centerpost to provide voice, email and wireless alerting within the application.

University of Vermont Extension natural resources specialist Lisa Chase
recently received a grant to study rural recreation and tourism. Partners
in the collaborative study are Roel Boumans of the Gund Institute for
Ecological Economics; Todd Comen of the Institute for Integrated Rural
Tourism; Dick Foster of the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and
Markets; and Bruce Lauber of Cornell University's Department of Natural
Resources.
