CALL FOR EXHIBITORS: VT WOODWORKING FESTIVAL

Do you make a quality, Vermont wood product? Calling all Vermont furniture
makers, wood turners, basket weavers, millwork and flooring, door and window
manufacturers, and all others who make products out of wood! The Vermont
Wood Manufacturers Association (VWMA) invites you to exhibit at the Seventh
Annual Vermont Fine Furniture & Woodworking Festival to make this event the
one stop shopping experience for homeowners, architects, interior designers,
and retailers. THE EVENT IS TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY & SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 &
26, 2010 AT THE UNION ARENA IN WOODSTOCK, VT.

Fifteen new companies joined the camaraderie of Vermont woodworkers at the
2009 event. Will you be the next new exhibitor? The more talented
woodworkers displaying their products, the more the message spreads to
attendees that Vermont is THE place to be for anything wood! The VWMA plans
to bring new aspects once again so that our return attendees will make this
their fall foliage destination for another year! The bi-annual Vermont Fine
Furniture & Wood Products Design Competition will be hosted at the 2010
Festival. Woodworkers will display their finest work for judging by industry
professionals and the public.

Last year the Barnard General Store was brought on to provide local food to
fuel the hungry shoppers. The annual student design competition & awards
ceremony was hosted at the Festival encouraging Vermont high school students
to submit their woodworking entries and to be able to network with the
state's professional woodworkers.

As always the VWMA will partner with Marsh Billings Rockefeller National
Historical Park for their annual Forest Festival Weekend. The Park will host
woodworking and sawmill demonstrations, forest walks, educational
activities, and events for the whole family. A complimentary shuttle will be
available to transport attendees between locations.

Even with the economy as it is, 2009 attendance remained steady and sales
were made right off the floor. Reported sales and orders from exhibitors
ranged from $300 to $9,000. Hundreds of leads were generated throughout the
weekend and connections with wholesale buyers and retailers were
established.

Woodworkers also have the option to be involved in the demonstration area
outside, where other activities were being hosted. Bowl turners, puzzle
makers, chair wrights, carvers, and many more have demonstrated their
talents in this space. If you have a wood demonstration you would like to
share with everyone that weekend, please contact the VWMA office to discuss
possibilities.

You may exhibit or sell only those pieces that are designed and made in
Vermont, by Vermont woodworkers. For more information and to download a
registration form please visit www.vermontwoodfestival.org, write to
