Stress Management Talk Dec. 14 at JSC

JOHNSON, VERMONT — Johnson State College associate professor Amy Welch will discuss stress management approaches Dec. 14 at the Stearns Student Center Cinema.    

The 4 p.m. talk, “To Run or Relax? Exploring the Arousal Antithesis for Stress Management,” is free for the public. Welch will discuss studies that compare exercise with calmer stress management methods. She teaches in JSC’s Environmental & Health Sciences Department.   

Welch’s talk is part of the JSC Faculty Lecture Series, supported by the JSC president’s office and Vermont chapter of the American Federation of Teachers. The series runs through the academic year.
