Come rub elbows and make connections with Vermont businesses whose products and services aim to reduce, mitigate, or prepare for the impacts of climate change.
Special guests include Duane Peterson, co-president and founder of SunCommon and Joe Fusco from Casella Waste Management and chair of the Vermont Climate Economy Action Team as well as emerging climate economy entrepreneurs.
Appetizers will be provided by Sugarsnap and a cash bar will be available.
The cost to attend is $10 in advance, $15 at the door. 100% of event proceeds will be donated to 1% For the Planet.
The Meet-up serves as the launch of the Climate Economy Business Network—a new initiative coordinated by theVermont Sustainable Jobs Fund to build community and collaboration amongst climate economy businesses that want to start and expand here in Vermont.
