Attorney General Donovan and the Vermont Bar Association Host First Immigration Law Workshop
April 19, 2017
The Vermont Bar Association (VBA), in partnership with the Attorney General’s Office, announced the first of a series of Immigration Law workshops. The workshop will provide a primer on immigration law and address ways attorneys can help immigrants in the community.
The Immigration Law workshop follows the VBA and Attorney General Donovan’s February announcement for attorneys interested in providing pro bono services to immigrants to sign up with the VBA. The Immigration Law workshop will be led by attorneys Sidney Collier, Debbie Volk and Leslie Holman.
Michael Kennedy, President of the VBA’s Board of Bar Managers said “I thank and commend the Attorney General, the VBA staff, and the Association’s Section on Immigration Law. Their commitment and collaboration has resulted in a top-notch workshop for Vermont lawyers who are interested in improving their knowledge and skills in this area of the law.”
Attorney General Donovan said: “Thank you to the Vermont Bar Association for providing this workshop. I am excited to join the group on Thursday.”
Attorney General Donovan will be a guest at the workshop on Thursday. If you are interested in signing up for the workshop, you can find more information here. The event details are below:
