Free appliance and tire roundups -- and a food drive -- in April
 

CSWD charges a fee to accept tires and major household appliances year-round at all drop-off centers. Twice a year we hold free round ups and welcome residents to bring them in at no charge. Note: Appliance and Tire Round Ups are open to Chittenden County residents only.

Free Appliance Round Up
WHEN: Saturday, April 7, from 8 am to 3:30 p.m. (April 6 & 7 at the Williston Drop-Off Center only)
WHERE: All CSWD Drop-Off Centers 

All Chittenden County residents are welcome to use any Drop-Off Center.
WE ACCEPT: Major household appliances such as air conditioners, boilers, dehumidifiers, dishwashers, dryers, fridges, freezers, furnaces, microwaves, stoves, trash compactors, washers, water coolers, and water heaters.
THE RULES:

- Appliance round up is open to residents of Chittenden County only.
- Limit: 3 appliances per customer.
- For safety purposes, please remove doors from latch-type fridges and freezers.  

Free Tire Round Up
WHEN: Saturday, April 21, from 8 am to 3:30 p.m. (April 20 & 21 at the Williston Drop-Off Center only)
WHERE: All CSWD Drop-Off Centers.  

All Chittenden County residents are welcome to use any Drop-Off Center.
WE ACCEPT: Up to 4 car, van, or light truck tires at all Drop-Off Centers, and up to 8 at the Williston Drop-Off Center.
THE RULES:
- Tire round up is open to residents of Chittenden  County only.
- Maximum rim size: 19.5"  

- Tires on rims: $1 fee each.  

- Additional tires are $2.75 - $5.25 each
- The Williston Drop-Off Center will accept up to 8 tires (additional tires are $2.25 - $3.75 each; $1 fee for tires on rims).

Food donations accepted at our Tire Round Up
WHEN: Saturday, April 21, from 8 am to 3:30 p.m.
WHERE: All CSWD Drop-Off Centers.
WE ACCEPT: Non-perishable food items and cash donations to benefit local emergency food banks for people and pets.  

Suggested donation: $1 per tire.  

Remember: If we each do a little, we can all do a lot!
