2 hurt after state trooper crashes cruiser into vehicle

Vermont State Police say a trooper crashed into a car in Newport, leaving both drivers hurt and both vehicles totaled.

2 Basketball players in handcuffs after brawl on court

Police have charged two members of the Daniel Webster men's college basketball team after a fight during the game. It took 25 officers to break up the brawl. Authorities say 22-year old Marquise Caudil assaulted a player on the South Vermont College's team and threatend and officer who tried to stop him.
